At Twynyrodyn Community School, we believe that children should not just learn in our school—they should help shape it too. Creating opportunities for pupils to share their ideas, make decisions, and feel heard is a big part of who we are.
We have a range of pupil groups that give children a real voice in school life. These groups help us improve our school, support others, and make Twynyrodyn an even better place to learn and belong.
Our Head Boy and Head Girl, along with their Deputies, play an important role in leading and supporting these groups, helping to bring everyone together and ensure pupils’ views are listened to.
Here are some of the ways our pupils get involved:
School Parliament (Mrs Jones & Mrs Rogers)
Where pupils share ideas, discuss important issues, and help make decisions about school life.
Eco Committee (Mrs Fleet & Mrs Roberts)
Passionate about protecting our environment and making our school more sustainable.
Criw Cymraeg (Mrs Williams & Mr Jones)
Promoting the Welsh language and culture across the school in fun and engaging ways.
Health and Wellbeing Group (Mrs Lucas & Mrs Davies)
Supporting positive mental health, wellbeing, and healthy lifestyles for all pupils.
Digital Champions (Mr Olden)
Helping others stay safe online and making the most of technology in learning.
Through these groups, our pupils learn that their voices matter, their ideas count, and they can make a real difference. We are proud of the confidence, leadership, and teamwork they show every day.
At Twynyrodyn, everyone has a voice—and we love to hear it.
